MSL (Medical Science Liaison)
A medical-affairs field role that conducts non-promotional scientific exchange with clinicians.
A medical-affairs field role that conducts non-promotional, peer-to-peer scientific exchange with HCPs and KOLs. Because the role sits in medical affairs rather than sales, MSL activity is governed by medical affairs review rather than promotional MLR, which is why materials built for MSLs follow a different review path from sales and marketing materials, even when both are discussing the same product.
